Free & Discounted Travel

Zip Card (Transport for London)

services where pay as you go is accepted. It also gives free bus and tram travel to Londoners aged 16 or 17. You can apply for a Zip card here.

16 to 25 Railcards

If you are aged 16 to 25 years old you could save you 1/3 on rail fares throughout Great Britain. A 1 year card costs just £30.  If you're aged between 16 and 25, or are older and in full-time education, you can apply for a 16 to 25 Railcard here.

Student Card (now called TOTUM Card)

If you haven’t been issued one by your college or 6th form you can apply for a Student Card online here.  It costs £12 a year and you can get loads of great discounts! Don’t forget this is different from a UCAS student card.
