Royal Greenwich Reablement Service
The Royal Borough of Greenwich's support workers can provide temporary support for up to six weeks for you or your family member in the following situations:
- if you have recently been discharged from hospital or
- to provide assistance at home that can help you to avoid going into hospital.
We can help you to learn, or re-learn, the day-to-day skills you need for self-confidence, independence and well-being. This is sometimes know as 'reablement'.
If you are a resident of the Royal Borough of Greenwich who is aged 18 years or older and you feel that you might benefit from a short period of support at home, you may be eligible for the service.
