Carer-assisted holidays for people with disabilities

If you would like to go on holiday, you can get support from a carer or personal assistant. 

Ivy Palmer's care team can provide 24-hour care and support while you are away, either in the UK or abroad. 

The carers can: 

• help with organising transport to and from your chosen destination
• speak to travel agents for you 
• administer medication 
• manage peg feeds, catheters or stomas 
• ensure your accommodation is fully set up with any mobility aids you need 
• ensure all your nutritional needs are met 
• provide personal care 
• work closely with GPs and other health care professionals to ensure all your medical needs are met
