Volunteering opportunity - social action project advisors

This summer 700 young people aged 15-17 years old from Greenwich will be participating in the National Citizen Service (NCS) social integration programme. The programme encourages participants to give back to people who are less fortunate than themselves, building more cohesive communities as well as levelling the playing field for all young people to develop essential skills for life after school.

We are looking for local people to be Pitch Advisers; just a 2.5 hour voluntary commitment which requires individuals to sit on a panel of judges, giving advice and guidance to young people about their proposed social action projects.

The possible volunteering dates are:

Sunday 21st July 14:30-17:00

Sunday 11th August 14:30-17:00

Wednesday 14th August 14:30-17:00

Thursday 15th August 14:30-17:00

No prior experience is needed; we'd love to get as diverse a range of people from the community as possible.
