New Cancer Awareness Events with Nepalese Translation

Let’s beat cancer sooner! Residents are invited to join one of three cancer awareness events taking place in community venues across the borough this winter 2018/19. The events will be delivered by specially trained cancer awareness nurses from the national charity Cancer Research UK, with the support of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Greenwich CCG and Age UK.

 The workshops will cover key topic areas, including:

  • how to reduce your cancer risk;
  • the common (and not so common) symptoms to look out for; and
  • how to take part in NHS cancer screening programmes.

When?

The three planned events take place at the following times and venues.
