Gideon Supported Housing and Domiciliary Home Care
Gideon Supported Housing is aimed at providing Supported accomodaion, Domiciliary Care services, Respite and counselling services for people (Ages 18 and above) suffering from severe and enduring mental health problems, physical disability including cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, learning difficulty, Autism and Asperger syndrome, substance misuse including (alcohol abuse) needing low to high support level in our Supported Housing or in their own home.
All of our staff are DBS checked and we are CQC registed with our last inspection in June 2018, rated Good. Gideon Supported Housing provides 24hour support to a mixed gender service with a strong focus on personal development, social inclusion and integration into the community.
At Gideon Housing we aim to provide a productive environment by promoting a rehabilitation programme designed to work with the different needs of individual service users. This rehabilitation programme is based on a Person Centered Planning whereby the service users is first and foremost seen as an individual, not someone suffering from a mental illness, or learning difficulty the aim is to provide a non - judgemental environment whereby service users are supported in everyday living skills and encouraged to develop old and new skills for independent living in the community.
