Gateway House is a Grade II listed building in the heart of the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Idyllically located by the Woolwich Ferry this extraordinary venue is available to hire for conferences, business meetings, music concerts, film premieres, celebrations, weddings, parties, conventions and exhibitions, and exercise classes.

The venue offers all the aesthetic elements of a superb range of versatile spaces, which make for spectacular events – all enhanced by flawless service provided by our experienced conference coordinators and technical engineers.

Room Info

The Highway
The Highway with an 1120 capacity compares with the most modern of cinemas, theatres and conference halls complete with the latest facilities and state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, The Highway boasts of several plasma screens and cameras for event projection and filming. Like all of the venues in Gateway House, The Highway is wheelchair accessible.

The Path
The Path is located on the ground level of Gateway House. Appropriately named The Path, it may be described as the ‘little version’ of The Highway since it boasts of very similar facilities albeit in smaller proportions with a 370 capacity.

The Avenue
The Avenue is a modern banqueting hall with varied capacity depending on the preferred arrangement style which affords the opportunity to take control when it comes to style, decor, layout, and overall finish. It welcomes 150 guests banquet style on round tables and 250 theatre style or standing for receptions and parties. It can also be partitioned into individual rooms – 5 in total for ultimate flexibility. The hall also has a spacious and fully equipped kitchen.

The Mitre

The Mitre like The Avenue will be a modern banqueting hall with varied capacity depending on the preferred arrangement style.

 

The Boardroom
The Boardroom is discreetly located on the first floor of Gateway House. It compares to any capacity executive style boardroom available and showcases samples of art deco that has become synonymous with Gateway House. Wheelchair access is not available.

The Crèche
The Crèche is a 20 child capacity space complete with all the trappings of a modern-day crèche. It is ideal for times when personal circumstances mean that children have to be close to a board meeting, conference or seminar venue. At such times, The Crèche provides a blissful solution.

Adequate supervision for children must be provided at own expense when The Crèche is in your use.
