Trained student advisers work closely with volunteer lawyers to provide free legal advice to clients. If the Centre is not able to assist we provide referral information to alternative sources of help.

Making an appointment is easy:

You can call the Legal Advice Centre on 020 8331 9947 - our phones are manned, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm

You can email the Legal Advice Centre at legaladvicecentre@gre.ac.uk

You can drop-in to book an appointment or receive information on Monday OR Friday between 10 am and 12 pm (noon) at the University of Greenwich's Stockwell Street Building SE10 8EY

The service won the "best new student pro bono service" in the Attorney General and Lawworks National Awards in 2015. In 2016 two of our law students were shortlisted in the "best student" category.

Please note: The service currently provides advice by appointment only.

The service provided is advice only. We cannot provide clients ongoing casework or representation, however we are a referral agency for the Free Representation Unit.

We give clients verbal advice at interview and a follow up advice letter within 10 working days.
