Notes

The programme is designed to build young people’s self-esteem, develop social skills and improve communication skills/expressive skills. We do this through fun drama games and activities, character development, storytelling, improvisation and performance. Everything is tailored to the needs of the group, without pressure to perform unless the young people feel ready to do so. We work with a maximum of 15 young people at any one time, who are supported by a drama therapist, lead drama tutor, support tutor and specialist volunteer assistant.
