We are the UK's leading diabetes charity. We care for, connect with and campaign alongside and on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes.

Care and support:  We provide information, advice and support to help people manage their diabetes effectively and confidently.

Our campaigns: We campaign with and for people with diabetes to improve the quality of care across the UK’s health services, so that everyone affected by the condition gets access to the best treatment and standards of care.

Our research: We are the UK’s largest charitable funder of diabetes research, funding pioneering research into care, cure and prevention for all types of diabetes.

Prevention: We work to halt the rising number of people diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes by educating them about their risk, encouraging early diagnosis and promoting simple lifestyle changes to help prevent or delay its onset.

Communities: We are committed to communicating about diabetes to people from Black, Asian and other minority ethnic groups.

Healthcare professionals: Together with our network of over 10,000 professional members and diabetes specialists, we share knowledge to improve the lives of people with diabetes.

Our volunteers: We couldn’t do it without our volunteers – a diverse network of individuals and groups whose time and support make our work possible.
