Roos Academy teaches the basic techniques of ballet and children are encouraged to develop self-confidence, imagination, interaction, co-operation and musicality through an enjoyment of dance. As they progress, a more formal teaching of dance technique is introduced when pupils are old enough to enjoy a more structured approach. After simple ballet training children are able to progress to formal ISTDs examinations and from primary school age can learn ballet, modern, tap and street dance.

Classes for 4-6 year olds introduce children to Stagecoach through one and a half hour classes divided into 3 sessions where children learn rhythm, coordination, spatial awareness and strong motor skills via singing, dancing and improvisation & play.

Students attend 3 hour sessions and work in groups based on age and maturity. Children take classes in dance, drama and singing.
